Taking the Plunge

After much deliberation, I have finally decided to jump in and start a blog. I have been considering it for some time, but I guess I am afraid of commitment or something because it just seems like it could take up a bunch of time. And I also seriously wonder if I will be able to think of anything to write about on a regular basis. But, as time passes by and the kids keep getting older and I guess I am getting older too (though I am in denial about that part), I am amazed at all the little things that I have forgotten about over the years. I guess I really should have been keeping a journal!

So, now I am turning over a new leaf. And, since we are so far away from all our family, I am hoping that this will help us feel a little more connected. So, stay tuned, and I actually might write something else again someday . . . soon . . . probably . . .
