All Good Things Must Come to an End

Elementary School
It is the end of elementary school for Seth and Aleah. I can hardly believe how quickly it has gone by. Wasn't it just a little while ago that they were heading off to their first day of kindergarden?

And the next thing I knew, it was their last day of elementary school.

The school had a big graduation celebration where the kids walked across the stage to receive their certificates and then they got to walk the halls of the school for the final time.

Seth and Aleah's elementary school years have been great. They have learned a lot and grown a lot and they have made some really wonderful friends. We are so very proud of them!

After all the celebrating at the school, Seth took off with some friends to celebrate some more with video games and pizza. Dalen and I got to go with Aleah and her friend's families to the Cheesecake Factory for lunch. Yum! I think we chose the better party to crash.

Preschool
It is the end of preschool for Josh. It has been lots and lots of fun, but now he gets to move on. Josh's graduation ceremony was quite the event! The kids were decked out in caps and gowns. They sang and performed and then they marched across the stage.

Josh kept waving at us over and over. We sure love this sweet kid!

Cub Scouts
It is the end of Cub Scouts for Seth. He has earned his Webelos badge and the Arrow of Light and he has now officially crossed over to Boy Scouts. Scouting has been such a great experience for Seth and we are looking forward to many great experiences in the future!

Braces
It is the end of braces for Aleah .... at least for now. Aleah has had braces on her top front teeth for the last year and she got them taken off last week. She will need to have them put on again later, after all her permanent teeth have come in. But at least she gets a break for a while. Aleah's teeth are looking pretty good, but straight teeth sure makes her look older. Yikes!

This Post
It is now the end of this post and I am finally caught up on the blog. YEAH! We are really happy for the kids and all they are doing in their lives. And we are looking forward to all the beginnings that are right around the corner.

So many endings -- all of them good, but still. Sort of makes me feel sentimental. You have lovely kiddoes and they will go on to bigger and better things. (you already knew that) -- they are great.
