Anyway...
I suppose that I fall into the general category of "soccer mom" these days. Although I'd like you to note that I DO NOT drive a minivan. (No offense to any of you minivan drivers.) We also live where it is nice and warm a good long part of the year, which means that the enthusiastic soccer clubs here in Austin have two soccer seasons - one in the spring and one in the fall. That roughly translates into six months of soccer per year for us. While I am always excited when soccer starts up again each season, I am equally excited when the season is finally over - which is where we are right now. I sometimes think that one soccer season might be enough for me. It seems that we get nothing done when we are in the throes of soccer. I'm sure our neighbors wonder why we can't seem to get around to mowing our lawn. They have kids involved in soccer and various other sports, but they do their yard work. Of course they usually do their's on Sunday, which isn't going to happen for us. But, oh well. Even though our yard sometimes leaves something to be desired, we are much more happy spending our time watching Seth and Aleah play soccer. The grass will always grow back, but you are only young once.
I was not very good about remembering the camera, so I had to try to take an entire season's worth of pictures during Seth and Aleah's very last games.
Seth is in the black jersey. You know, the good looking one. ;) Seth did a great job this season and had a great time!

Aleah is also in the black jersey. She may be small, but she is one tough cookie. So watch out! She was on a new team this year and she was very, very happy. Aleah had a great season!

Seth and Aleah, we are very proud of both of you!

Oh, I love your kids!! It's so fun to see them grow and learn and do well. Soccer is great fun, I think - -much more fun than yard work, right?! ha!
look at 'em go! i can't wait until soccer is more than just a beehive of 4-5 year olds running up and down the field! :)
Wow, they look great! And your yard ALWAYS looks wonderful, so you're sneaking in the yardwork somewhere ;)
