What is that stuff?

It snowed last week in Austin. Josh looked out the back door and proclaimed "IT'S A MIRACLE"! The snow even stuck to a few things like the trampoline and the deck and the roofs of houses. We didn't get much on the lawn since the trees caught it first and there didn't seem to be enough to make it to the lawn beneath.

Josh and Anna went out and stuck their faces up in it. The flakes were huge, though you can bearly tell it was snowing from this picture.

When Seth and Aleah got home from school, they gathered all of the snow from the deck and made this gigantic snowman.

To add to the excitment of the snow, I took Anna to get her hair cut for the first time ever. She was all excited about it until we got there and they put her in the chair. When she saw parts of her hair slipping down the cape and onto the floor, she became very worried. But she fought back the tears and now wants to go back and get her hair cut again .... "when it snows" she says. It might be a while apparently.
