Remember When it was Cold?
This year in Austin has been HOT, HOT, HOT. On August 28th it hit 112 degrees, tying the record for the hottest temperature EVER recorded in Austin. There has also been very little rainfall this year, so all of Texas is in a major drought. But there was a time earlier this year when it was cold. Not record breaking cold, but down in the teens COLD. There was even snow. I am looking forward to it being a little colder again. I'm not even asking for snow or anything. Just a little colder. And I wouldn't complain if a little rain was thrown in there too.

Oh my, what I wouldn't do for a little of that right now. And I do mean a "little," because I like the snow about as much as I like the heat. THIS heat, however, I've had enough of!
